The RB THERMAL SYSTEM is a complete, ready-to-deploy thermal monitoring solution by REBOTNIX — combining the NVIDIA Jetson edge AI platform, REBOTNIX thermal analysis software, and new calibrated infrared camera in one integrated system. All processing runs directly on the Jetson: image acquisition, thermographic analysis, hotspot detection, and alarm logic — without cloud dependency or external workstations.
RB-Thermal Ethernet
The camera connects via Ethernet and captures non-contact infrared images in the 8 to 14 µm spectral range. Two models are available: the RB 900 covers -20 °C to 900 °C, the RB 1500 covers -20 °C to 1500 °C — both with a 384 × 240 pixel sensor. The exceptional distance-to-spot ratio of up to 390:1 delivers precise measurements even over long distances. The motorized focus allows accurate remote focus adjustments — ideal for fixed installations in hard-to-reach positions. The compact, ruggedized, and waterproof housing is designed for continuous stationary operation in industrial environments. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support means a single cable handles both data and power — simplifying installation and reducing wiring effort.
Edge Processing on NVIDIA Jetson
REBOTNIX integrates the camera directly with the NVIDIA Jetson platform with CUDA and PVA support. The thermal data stream feeds into the REBOTNIX thermal software running on-device, enabling full thermal monitoring at the edge (https://rebotnix.com/horizonindustrial/thermal-monitoring):
