Description
The X231 Developer System brings full AGX Orin performance to an expandable platform. Two PCIe x8 FPC expansion connectors enable the integration of high-bandwidth expansion modules: 4× M.2 Key M (each PCIe x4) and 4× OCuLink for NVMe arrays or configurations with 4× CSI-2 camera ports, Wi-Fi/GPS, and LTE. This makes the X231 an ideal base platform for customers who want to scale hardware configuration and peripherals depending on project requirements.
Two independent Gigabit Ethernet controllers (RTL8111, RJ45) enable IT/OT separation or redundant networking. The CAN bus with integrated TJA transceiver connects the system directly to vehicle and machine networks. The hardware crypto chip (ATSHA204A) protects software and intellectual property—essential for commercial OEM deployments. MCU, watchdog, and auto-flashing enable reliable remote field management without on-site technicians.
The wide input voltage range of 24–48 V makes the X231 compatible with industrial power supplies and 24 V truck electrical systems. With the AGX Orin 64GB (200 TOPS), a pre-flashed 128 GB NVMe SSD (JetPack 6.x), and active cooling, the system is ready for immediate use.
