Description
The JNX45 Developer System addresses one of the biggest challenges in decentralized edge AI deployments: what happens if the system in the field no longer boots and no technician is on site? The JNX45’s answer is a dedicated MCU (STM32L071) with its own LTE-UART channel that receives remote commands via SMS—independent of the Linux operating system. It can perform a cold reboot, change the boot order, store boot logs in internal flash, and automatically switch to the second NVMe slot (PCIe x1, backup boot) in case of failure, which contains a clean recovery installation. This enables a full remote factory reset without requiring a technician on site.
The 12-channel power measurement (INA3221) monitors current and voltage of the Jetson module, the 5V rail, the 3.3V rail, as well as each individual USB port in real time—ideal for diagnostics, energy optimization, and detection of short circuits or connected high-load devices. The seven USB 3.2 ports (10 Gbit/s), with software-controlled power switching per port, allow remote power cycling of connected USB devices.
The input voltage range of 12–30V enables direct connection to 12V passenger car electrical systems (up to 14.4V with the engine running) and 24V truck systems (up to 28.8V)—without the need for an external voltage converter. Pre-flashed with JetPack 6.x and supplied as a complete package including power supply.
